In 2022, SouthSeas had the privilege to participate in the CleanTeQ-BP oil well water treatment plant project supplement located in Kuwait. This project aims to enhance the processing capacity and efficiency of the water treatment plant.
As a country rich in oil resources, Kuwait's oil extraction activities generate a significant amount of well water alongside economic development. However, this well water contains various chemical substances that, if not effectively treated, could have adverse effects on the environment and human health. Therefore, establishing efficient water treatment plants is one of the crucial measures to protect the environment and resources.
The CleanTeQ-BP oil well water treatment plant specializes in treating and recycling well water generated during the oil extraction process. However, with the continuous expansion of oil extraction operations, the processing capacity of the water treatment plant faces challenges. To meet the growing processing demands, it is essential to supplement and upgrade the water treatment plant.
The scope of this project includes adding low-voltage cabinets, low-voltage variable frequency drives, control cabinets, button boxes, active filters, UPS, and conducting corresponding programming and debugging work. These supplemental measures will significantly enhance the processing capacity and efficiency of the water treatment plant, ensuring its ability to effectively address the increasing processing demands.
