From 2024 to 2025, South Seas was honored to provide essential spare parts for the installation and commissioning phases of the Kiaka Gold Mine Project in Burkina Faso. This project, led by West African Resources (WAF), stands as one of the most representative gold resource development projects in West Africa in recent years.
During the construction and trial operation phases, to ensure smooth installation and efficient commissioning of electrical and automation systems, South Seas precisely configured and delivered multiple batches of specialized spare parts for power distribution systems, including connectors, control components, and protective devices. This ensured seamless integration and efficient interconnection of all system modules on site.
This supply initiative demonstrated South Seas' in-depth understanding of international mining project timelines and on-site engineering requirements. We provided not only products but also comprehensive solution-level support, including customized material lists, technical documentation, usage training recommendations, and remote installation guidance - all of which formed a solid foundation for Kiaka project's early commissioning.
As the project progresses, South Seas will continue to collaborate with WAF and all participating parties to enhance service capabilities and assist in completing key tasks from equipment delivery to stable system operation. Looking ahead, we remain committed to supporting African mining clients in building more reliable and efficient industrial infrastructure through our high-standard products and professional services.
