In 2025, South Seas undertook the supply of power distribution equipment for the electrical rooms and control rooms at the EPCM/CPM Poboya Gold Project, delivering complete electrical room and control room packages including MCCs, DBs, VSDs, and other core distribution and control products. The project is located in the central Poboya gold mining region of Indonesia, representing a significant gold production site. The mine places high demands on power supply continuity, stability, and control system intelligence. As the power hubs of the mine, the performance of the electrical rooms and control rooms directly affects overall mining operations.

The main equipment supplied includes:
Complete electrical rooms and control rooms: pre-fabricated containerized structures integrating power distribution and control equipment, featuring dustproof, moisture‑proof, and corrosion‑resistant properties for harsh mine environments, enabling rapid on‑site installation and commissioning
MCCs : for centralized control of process motors such as crushers, conveyors, and grinding mills, supporting remote start/stop, current monitoring, and fault protection
DBs: providing safe and reliable branch distribution for site lighting, maintenance power, and auxiliary equipment
VSDs: enabling soft start and speed regulation of critical motors, optimizing energy consumption, reducing mechanical stress, and extending equipment service life
Leveraging its experience in the mining electrical sector, South Seas completed the design, integration, and factory testing of the equipment. The successful delivery of this batch provides strong support for the power supply security of the Poboya electrical and control rooms and further deepens technical cooperation with the EPCM/CPM team.
