In 2025, South Seas successfully delivered LV main switchgear, power supply electrical rooms (including PFC), VSDs, and main MCCs to the TC/Sydney Water Prospect Pre-Treatment Plan Project, and provided full technical support throughout the process. TC is responsible for the electrical engineering execution, and the owner is Sydney Water. The project is located in the Sydney region, New South Wales, Australia. As a key water treatment infrastructure upgrade project in the area, it places high demands on power distribution stability, energy efficiency, and automation.

The core equipment supplied includes:
Power supply electrical rooms (including PFC): integrating LV main switchgear and power factor correction, with containerized sealed enclosures offering dustproof and moisture‑proof performance to ensure power quality and system safety in water treatment environments
Variable speed drives (VSDs): supporting soft start and precise speed regulation, effectively reducing energy consumption and mechanical stress while extending equipment service life
Main motor control centers (MCC): providing centralized power distribution and protection for process equipment such as pumps and blowers, enabling remote monitoring and fault diagnosis
Leveraging its experience in the water treatment and mining electrical sectors, South Seas completed the design, integration, and delivery of the equipment. This collaboration provides reliable support for the electrical system upgrade of Sydney Water's pre-treatment facilities and further strengthens the working relationship with the TC team.
