In 2025, South Seas was honoured to supply commissioning spare parts and provide technical support for the Kiniero Gold Mine project in Guinea. The project is managed by ECG for electrical and instrumentation works, with Canadian-listed mining company Robex Resources as the owner. Situated in the Siguiri Basin, Kiniero is a flagship gold development in West Africa, aiming to enhance ore processing capacity and metal recovery through modern mining facilities and advanced process technology.
South Seas provided a broad range of services, including:
Supply of commissioning spare parts, including but not limited to essential electrical components, sensors, and terminal blocks
Technical support and replacement services during installation to ensure all systems were commissioned as planned
Assistance during functional testing and system trial runs, with on-site support for troubleshooting and performance verification
Training for local operators and maintenance personnel, as well as guidance on spare parts handling and management to ensure long-term system reliability
This service engagement showcased South Seas’ responsiveness and technical expertise in supporting large-scale mining projects. It also strengthened the ongoing partnership with ECG and Robex, laying a solid technical foundation for future cooperation across mining developments in West Africa.
