In 2024, South Seas was honoured to provide on-site technical support services for the High Pressure Grinding Rolls (HPGR) system at the CITIC Pacific Mining (CPM) project. Located in Western Australia, this is one of the largest magnetite mining operations in the country. The HPGR system, as a key component of the ore beneficiation process, plays a vital role in improving ore pre-treatment efficiency.
The scope of South Seas’ services included:
  • Operational inspection of the HPGR system
  • Testing and analysis of key performance parameters
  • Verification of auxiliary system functions
  • Fault diagnosis and technical rectification
  • On-site training and technical handover for operators and maintenance personnel
Our service team, comprising experienced mechanical and electrical engineers, operated in full compliance with the mine site’s safety protocols and work standards, ensuring the delivery of high-efficiency, professional, and compliant services. As a result, the HPGR system saw significant improvements in operational efficiency, reliability, and fault responsiveness — supporting CPM in maintaining stable beneficiation output and continuous operations.
South Seas remains committed to the principle of “technical excellence and service first,” providing full lifecycle support for smart equipment to CITIC and mining clients worldwide, and contributing to the green, safe, and efficient development of the global mining industry.
