As the core power system responsible for the heavy-load start/stop and overload protection of ball mill equipment, the performance of the hydraulic station directly affects the safety and continuity of the grinding process. In response to the original system's issues—such as slow response, low energy efficiency, and inconvenient maintenance—South Seas delivered an upgraded, integrated hydraulic system featuring high responsiveness and enhanced reliability. The scope of supply included the main hydraulic pump unit, valve assembly, pressure monitoring module, hydraulic oil tank system, and local control panels. All equipment complied with IEC standards and Australian mining regulations.
Throughout the upgrade, the South Seas team worked closely with CPM’s on-site technical staff to ensure a seamless transition and commissioning process without disrupting production. The new system significantly improved the ball mill's start-up smoothness, operational reliability, and level of automation.
The successful delivery of this project once again demonstrates South Seas’ engineering capability and service excellence in hydraulic control system upgrades for the mining sector. We remain committed to offering professional system integration and turnkey solutions that empower intelligent operation and equipment modernisation for mining clients worldwide.
