From 2024 to 2025, South Seas continued to strengthen its collaboration with the CITIC Pacific Mining (CPM) project by supplying multiple batches of high-quality structural components for the 8PT low-voltage switchgear system. These components provided essential support for equipment installation, expansion, and maintenance.
The 8PT series is a globally recognized modular low-voltage switchgear system, known for its excellent structural stability, flexible functional configurations, and user-friendly operation and maintenance features. Widely used in demanding sectors such as mining, power, and metallurgy, the system benefits from modularity and robustness. The supplied components included panel doors, brackets, partitions, locks, hinges, and guide rails, all manufactured in strict compliance with IEC and relevant Australian standards to ensure perfect compatibility with the original cabinet system.
Leveraging its proven capabilities in switchgear cabinet manufacturing and a responsive supply chain, South Seas efficiently completed the deliveries with assured quality and timeliness—effectively supporting equipment upgrades and project schedules at the CPM site. This cooperation further deepens the strategic partnership between both parties in the field of electrical system integration for the mining sector.
Looking ahead, South Seas will continue to uphold its commitment to “Focus, Expertise, and Global Service,” offering more comprehensive and customized structural solutions for power distribution systems worldwide.
